After your acceptance to Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, a new era in your life will be about
to start. If collecting all the documents for the application is one thing, preparing your stay
when you arrive in Weimar is another. Weimar is a small, beautiful city. This means that you
will reach the necessary locations, and be able to complete all the primary tasks pretty
easy.

This quick guide aims to create a summary of the things to do, especially focusing on the
ones who are coming from non-EU countries. The overview of the information you need is
explained in different sections, significant points are outlined, and prior connections are
mentioned.

If you have further questions, you can always get in contact with the Campus.Office.

Picture: Hamish Appleby
I have decided to apply for Bauhaus Universität Weimar around these days last year (2017). I have already had in my mind to study Public Art and New Artistic Strategies for years, and I felt like the moment had come to take a firm action. It was almost the perfect timing. I had about 3 months ahead to prepare all the necessary papers, take the language tests and finalize the presentation of my works. In this article, I tried to perform a general review of the application process. I wanted to create a short guide in the matter of the basic documents, from certificates to letters, and also about some exceptional ones that your department may ask additionally.

A Berlin excursion of the master's programme Public Art and New Artistic Strategies

A highly intense Berlin excursion — November Diary

One could easily see that there is a big difference between Weimar and Berlin—two important German cities, especially for students. These diversities can be described in lots of ways such as scale, people, daily routines, public transportation, language, and so on. My latest November has been one of the most intense ones, shuttling between Weimar and Berlin, rushing from one place to another, getting exhausted, and yet having fun and experiencing a lot.
